Karoline & Bo’s Welcome Dinner and Party on Lady of the Lake, Lake Geneva

Two events, one boat, and a Lake Geneva sunset that had absolutely no business being that beautiful.

The evening started as an intimate family dinner on the water with speeches that had me choking back tears behind my camera. The kind of dinner that everyone is just completely present, soaking in a bit of calm before the boat circled back to pick up the rest of the guests and the whole night transformed into a full blown party.

Some of my favs from the night:

• The speeches at dinner. So heartfelt, so good. I was fighting to keep my camera steady.
• That sunset over Lake Geneva that just kept getting better every time I thought it had peaked
• The golf themed cake Karoline surprised Bo with. The detail on it was incredible and his face when he saw it was even better
• Sweet Caroline coming on and the entire boat losing their minds. Over 100 people singing directly at Karoline while she absolutely owned that dancefloor. One of the best moments I have photographed in a long time.

Karoline and Bo, what a night. From the quiet family dinner to every single person on that dancefloor at the end, I had the best time being there for all of it.
